Součást populární koncertní série Big Bang Radio Těchto 12 temperamentních písní bylo nahráno během živého vystoupení skupiny B-52s na festivalu Disney Rock 'N Rockets v Orlandu v listopadu 1998. Skupina B-52s slavila velký úspěch se svou směsicí retro popu 50. a 60. let, trash kultury a rock'n'rollu.

Jsou hudebním "second-handem" se zcela jedinečnou estetikou. Typický styl kapely s jedinečným zvukem kytar a kláves tvoří "chlapský vs. dívčí" vokál Schneidera, Piersona a Wilsona, kteří někdy vystupují společně ve stylu call and response.

Album Cosmic Thing (1989) se dostalo na 25. místo německé hitparády LP a udrželo se tam 22 týdnů. Jeho následovník Good Stuff (1992) strávil v hitparádě 17 týdnů, přičemž se umístil na 22. místě. V roce 2008 následovalo album Funplex na 38. místě.
