Syd Barrett's Opel is a psychedelic rock album released in 1988. The album was recorded by Barrett in his home studio between 1987 and 1988. Barrett played all the instruments on the album except drums, which were played by his brother. The album was released on Barrett's own label, Pink Floyd Records. The album was not well received by critics, who dismissed it as a poor imitation of Barrett's former band Pink Floyd. Later critics, however, praised the album, calling it a masterpiece of psychedelic rock.
