STEVE HACKETT proves his exceptional position in the rock genre with his guitar work and compositions that skillfully combine rock music with jazz, world music and blues influences.During his time in the band Genesis, he and his bandmates created some of the greatest rock moments of the last century, from the quiet, dreamy acoustic tones in tracks like "Horizons" and "Blood On The Rooftops" to the dramatic guitar solos in "Firth Of Fith" and "Fountain Of Salmacis". As a solo artist, he continues to develop his own style, writing the hit "Cell 151" amongst others in the 80s and joining forces with Steve Howe to form the supergroup GTR, which becomes very successful in America.In 2009 STEVE HACKETT writes and records the album "Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth", in a period of personal and professional upheaval.
