Sinead O'Connor je všeobecně uznávána jako jedna z nejvlivnějších umělkyň 90. let, a to nejen díky svým senzačním vystoupením a syrovému, emotivnímu hlasu, ale také díky svému otevřenému sebevědomí, s nímž se veřejně vyjadřuje. Sinead se narodila v Dublinu v roce 1966 a objevil ji Paul Byrne, bubeník chráněnců U2 In Tua Nua, když ve městě zpívala svatební písně.
