Simon & Garfunkel: Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. version on vinyl LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Columbia in cooperation with Sony Music on 19. October 2018.

The duo recorded their first album as Simon & Garfunkel in 1964 and produced a record that sounds different from the music they released in later years. Between the release of "Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M." and their second album, Simon & Garfunkel scored a big folk-rock hit with "The Sound Of Silence". This album contains the original acoustic version of this song, which was to become the title track of the folk duo's next and much more successful album. When album producer Tom Wilson noticed that the song was getting more radio play, he had Bob Dylan's studio musicians record additional soundtracks with electric guitar, bass and drums. A modified version of the song was released as a single without Simon & Garfunkel's knowledge. On January 1, 1966, the song reached number one on the US singles chart.
