Re-release of the first album of the Scorpions from 1972, mastered on the original tapes and in high quality 180gram vinyl. Although Lonesome Crow was released on the krautrock label Brain, many today argue whether this album really belongs in the krautrock scene. What is certain is that the Scorpions were unique to the German scene at the time, and not just with their lyrics. So this album partly contains elements of progressive rock, which was still relatively fresh at the time. It's simply good music, which explains why 500,000 copies of this album have been sold worldwide to date.
