The brilliant Róisín Murphy presents her first LP project "Rósín Machine", which follows the Mercury Prize nominated "Hairless Toys" in 2015 and the equally acclaimed "Take Her Up To Monto", released a year later. "Rósín Machine" represents the culmination of a fruitful, decade-long collaboration between Murphy and one of her closest confidants, Crooked Man aka DJ Parrot. Although the album contains plenty of masterful singles in the form of "Simulation," "Jealousy," "Incapable," "Narcissus" and "Murphy's Law," the long player is instead a thoughtful and fluid listening experience that can be enjoyed pretty much from beginning to dazzling end. On "Rósín Machine", Róisín Murphy showcases a multifaceted array of his outstanding abilities - from the infectious disco-funk of "Incapable", to the impeccable, new disco-influenced "Narcissus", with which Murphy once again raises the bar of the genre, to the 70s-inspired earworm of "Murphy's Law". Alongside the familiar tracks there are five new songs, including the robotic funk of "We Got Together" and the great "Shellfish Mademoiselle". "Rósín Machine" is an album that's perfect for the home sound system, but sounds perfect in smaller rooms as well.
