On May 6, the 66-year-old musician will release a brand new studio album, which he has named "Time". The basic version of the album will feature a total of twelve songs and all eleven of them were composed and produced by Rod Stewart himself. The last of the songs, the song "Picture In A Frame" for a change comes from the pen of his musical colleague - Tom Waits. Rod Stewart has returned to writing his own songs after almost twenty years, and as the first tasters suggest, this legendary British musician is in absolutely fantastic form, which can be compared to his highly successful production in the 80s. Let us recall that Rod Stewart is one of the most successful British artists ever. During his career, he has sold over a hundred million albums, scored more than six dozen singles in the charts, six of which have made it to the top of the UK singles chart, and overseas he has managed a similar feat in the Billboard Hot 100 with four songs.
