Ringo Starr releases a new studio album after three years!

One of the greatest living icons, singer and multi-talented multi-instrumentalist Ringo Starr is making his presence known again after three years! The seventy-four-year-old musician, who rose to fame as the drummer for the legendary Beatles at the start of his career, will release a brand new studio album at the end of March.

His eighteenth solo album will be released under the title Postcards From Paradise and will feature eleven new songs. Ringo is credited as the writer on all the songs, with a helping hand from his backing band , the All Starr Band, who also contributed to the songs. Ringo Starr produced the new work himself and recorded it in his own studio in Los Angeles.

As always, Starr was surrounded by a bunch of his friends during the recording process, who appear as guests on the album. Namely, Postcards From Paradise features guest appearances by Joe Walsh, Benmont Tench, Dave Stewart, Ann Marie Simpson, Richard Marx, Amy Keys, Peter Frampton, Nathan East and Glen Ballard. These names also confirm that this will be a truly extraordinary musical experience...

The Postcards From Paradise album will be available to buy from 27 March, just a few before the Liverpool native receives one big tribute. On April 18, Ringo Starr will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during a gala evening in Cleveland...
