Patti Smith Group: Wave version on vinyl LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Arista in cooperation with Sony Music and Legacy on 14. February 2019.

The Patti Smith Group released their fourth studio album Wave in 1979, whose single Frederick was dedicated to Patti Smith's then future husband Fred "Sonic" Smith of the MC5. Before beginning preparations for the follow-up to the hit album "Easter", Patti Smith met former MC5 guitarist Fred "Sonic" Smith - the couple quickly fell in love and eventually married. Soon after, Smith decided she wanted to leave the music business and start a family, but agreed to record her latest album, 79's Wave, which was produced by Todd Rundgren. Although Patti Smith later retired, Wave was the last album to feature the complete original Patti Smith band.
