Heritage is the tenth studio album by Swedish progressive death metal band Opeth, released on 20 September 2011 by Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Mikael Åkerfeldt and mixed by Steven Wilson. It is the first Opeth album to feature keyboardist Joakim Svalberg. Stylistically, the album departs from the band's earlier death metal sound and features a more progressive rock sound.

Swedish progressive pioneers always think one foot ahead.
