Prior to their solo careers, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Mc Ren and DJ Yalla formed the group N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude). They were at the forefront of the hip-hop movement and are considered the most famous group in rap history.To celebrate their 20th anniversary, "The Best Of N.W.A.: The Strength Of Street Knowledge" was released as a CD and CD/DVD deluxe edition. The CD includes the N.W.A. anthem "Boyz 'N The Hood", all the classic tracks like "Fuck Tha Police" and "Straight Outta Compton" as well as a remix of "Compton's In The House". The DVD features legendary music videos such as "100 Miles And Runnin'" and "Express Yourself" along with previously unreleased footage of interviews with the protagonists. With "The Best Of N.W.A.: The Strength Of Street Knowledge", gangsta rap enthusiasts participate in the birth of gangsta rap, which became the most popular form of hip hop in the 1990s.
