Surrounded by strings and guitars, Simone returned to the limelight with her autobiography and an excellent album that once again highlights her still impressive singing and performing skills. Throughout, she has been a brilliant, politically aware protest singer, but there are also romantic notes here. The album "A Single Woman" has never been released on vinyl before!
