Nick Drake: Five Leaves Left version on vinyl LP in Remastered edition. This particular edition was published in United Kingdom in publishing company Island Records on 29. October 2013.
Album Five Leaves Left, jehož název pochází z etikety výrobce na konci krabičky cigaretových papírků Rizla, bylo nahráno mezi létem 1968 a o rok později. Podíleli se na něm Richard Thompson, tehdy člen Fairport Convention, na kytaře, Danny Thompson na baskytaru a další, stejně jako krásné aranže Roberta Kirbyho.
Album bylo mezinárodně uznáno jako klasika, v roce 2003 se dostalo na 280. místo v žebříčku 500 nejlepších alb všech dob časopisu Rolling Stone, v roce 2005 na 85. místo v anketě britské televizní stanice Channel 4 a na 74. místo v žebříčku všech dob časopisu NME. Nick Kent z NME ji v roce 1975 popsal jako "jedno z těch alb, která podobně jako Astral Weeks a Forever Changes vyvolávají v posluchači určitou náladu a pak si s ní hrají".
Zdánlivý nezájem veřejnosti o Drakeův jedinečný talent nebyl způsoben nedostatkem uznání kritiky. Mark Williams, který pro International Times recenzoval novinku Five Leaves Left, poukázal na to, že nováčkův hlas by se dal přirovnat k Donovanovu.
"Ale Don by bez svých písní nedosáhl ničeho a Nick bez svých nedosáhne ničeho," napsal. "Jsou to nádherné, jemné vánky kadenční dokonalosti, které nesou zadumané básně jako tančící zlaté listy."
