With Nick Cave into the darkest corners It's been six months since Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds unveiled their acclaimed Top 5 album "Skeleton Tree". Fans will recall that very little was revealed about the album prior to its release. However, the craving for more preliminary information was satisfied with much fanfare on September 8, 2016. That's when "One More Time With Feeling" was screened in more than 950 theaters around the world. This slim, fragile, raw and moving documentary is now finally available on double DVD or double Blu-ray and also on 3D Blu-ray. "One More Time With Feeling" was directed by an old friend, Australian Andrew Dominik. Nick Cave and multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis already wrote the soundtrack for Dominik's film "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" a decade ago. "One More Time With Feeling" was shot in black and white, color, 2D and 3D. The film tells the story of the making of "Skeleton Tree". Among other things, it focuses on the tragic and deeply sad personal circumstances that were decisive for the thematic development of the album. Cave's son died suddenly a year ago. The film also shows some of the band's live performances in the studio. "One More Time With Feeling" is more than just a making-of. The film is an intimate portrait of the artist that takes you everywhere: into the musician's daily routine and into his darkest corners.
