Morrissey isn't resting on his laurels After dedicating his last album "California Son" to the songs of his idols last year, the iconic indie rocker and former lead singer of The Smiths returns from the studio in 2020 with his own material. "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain" is the title of his new 13th solo album. Moz" recorded eleven songs for it in Saint-Remy, France. His longtime producer Joe Chicarelli was behind the direction. With "Bobby, Don't You Think They Know?", the first single from "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain", a collaboration with Motown legend Thelma Houston, was released in January. And it shows: Morrissey doesn't rest on his cult status. Instead, he'll reemerge in 2020 as a versatile and creative artist. "I'm Not a Dog on a Chain" is proof of that.
