Morphine: Bootleg Detroit version on CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Music On CD in cooperation with Rykodisc on 13. March 2020.

For those who have never had the opportunity to see Morphine's fantastic live show, this recording is as good as it gets. They are unpretentious and raw. Here, singer Mark Sandman on two-string bass (slide bass), Dana Colley on (double) baritone/tenor sax and Billy Conway on drums and backing vocals go full throttle. The recording was made LIVE in 1994 at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan and was edited, mixed and mastered under the supervision of Mark Sandman. Mark Sandman also handled the artwork and provided the low-resolution album cover before the band completed their last tour in Italy. Morphine on stage is sexy, charming low-bluesy rock with a distinctive sound and feel, good vocals and fun stories.
