The combination of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen broke through in early 1985 with the album You're My Heart, You're My Soul and brought the group huge popularity. The group sold more than 5.7 million records in that country, making them one of the best-selling artists in Germany. In the Garden Of Venus is their sixth and final studio album. It was released after the split of the combo. After the split of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen, the singles In 100 Years and Locomotion Tango were released. Although they are among the combo's best singles, their numbers are rather unknown today, as they were lost during the scandalous split. The album In the Garden Of Venus was subsequently unreleased in many countries, but fans and music pundits alike consider it one of Modern Talking's best albums.
