The sincere and versatile Marianne Faithfull releases her new album "Negative Capability" in 2018. This is the British singer-songwriter's 21st LP album, the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2014's "Give My Love To London".Faithfull herself describes "Negative Capability" as the most honest album of her career. The ten songs deal with love, death, loneliness and also terrorism. In addition to the new songs, the album features three new versions of her well-known songs "As Tears Go By", "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" and "Witches' Song". In addition, several notable guests have contributed to "Negative Capability," including Ed Harcourt, Mark Lanegan and Nick Cave. The latter makes a guest appearance as vocalist and pianist on the first single "The Gypsy Fairie Queen". In addition to the standard CD, the new album is available as a deluxe CD with 13 tracks, as an LP and as a box set with LP and CD. Authentic, honest, poetic and versatile: Marianne Faithfull's "Negative Capability" is an impressive work of art.
