Rainbow is the seventh studio album by Mariah Carey, released in 1999. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually went triple platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America. The album spawned four singles, including the number one hit "Thank God I Found You", co-written by Joe and 98 Degrees. The album Rainbow contains a mixture of ballads and uptempo songs and has been praised by music critics for its vocal performances and Carey's songwriting.
