Lou Reed's classic album "New York" will be released in 2020 in a comprehensive deluxe edition with interesting bonus material. "New York" is the fifteenth solo album by the legendary American composer, guitarist, singer and co-founder of The Velvet Underground. Originally released in 1989, it reached number one in the Swiss charts, number 14 in the UK and number 19 in Germany. Among the best-known songs are the singles "Romeo Had Juliette," "Dirty Blvd." and "Busload of Faith." The deluxe edition of "New York" is released as a complete set with three CDs, a DVD and two LPs. In addition to the remastered original tracks, a live version of the full album, compiled from several performances from Lou Reed's 1989 tour, awaits you on CD. Other highlights of the collection include a non-album version of "The Room", an acoustic version of "Busload Of Faith" and a single version of "Romeo Had Juliette". The double LP contains the remastered album. The DVD contains the concert recording of "The New York Album", which was originally released on VHS and laserdisc in 1990, but has not yet been available on DVD.
