Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent is the debut album by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, featuring his well-known songs such as Grace and Someone You Loved, among others. "Everyone talks about how amazing it was to record the first album, how they will always remember it with a smile on their face. I'll remember mine as an extremely stressful period that was also extremely boring for some reason," Capaldi explains about the recording process. He adds that he enjoyed composing music and writing lyrics, but that there was nothing fun about the actual repetitive recording of guitar parts and the lengthy process of mixing the music. He concludes by noting that he never thought his debut album would be called something so stupid. MTV, however, reciprocated by saying that Capaldi is an adept candidate for the 2019 Best Album Title award.
