Leonard Cohen's 1977 "Death of a Ladies' Man" is a dark, brooding work. The album was produced by Phil Spector, and Cohen declared that the collaboration was a disaster. The album is full of Spector's signature Wall of Sound production and Cohen's dark lyrics. The album is a challenging listen, but well worth the effort. Highlights include the title track, "I'm Your Man" and "Ain't No Cure for Love."
