For the first time, an album covering his entire career from 1955 to 2003 is now available: 'Ring of Fire - The Legend Of Johnny Cash'. 21 recordings originally released on Sun, Columbia, Island and American Recordings, "Ring of Fire - The Legend Of Johnny Cash" is the first compilation to include more recent tracks from his time with Rick Rubin and American Recordings, for which he won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album and a Grammy for Best Music Video ("Hurt"), among others. Best Of from the American Recordings period includes a cover version of U2's hit "One", Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" and Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt", which he gave a whole new sound. Cash's songs from his time at Sun Records include his first single "Hey, Porter" / "Cry! Cry! Cry!", "Guess things happen that way" and the classic "I walk the line". In addition, this one-of-a-kind compilation features the hits "Ring of Fire", "A Boy Named Sue", "A Thing Called Love" and "The Wanderer", a duet with U2.The album is accompanied by a 16-page booklet with exclusive photos and an essay by renowned author Rich Kienzle.
