Second Haken album in a new sound London progressive metallers Haken celebrate their tenth birthday in 2017. To mark this anniversary, the band is re-releasing their first two albums "Aquarius" and "Visions". With "Visions", Haken unveiled their second studio album on September 17, 2011. After the previous work, which was composed mostly on piano, Richard Henshall wrote its successor mostly on guitar. In the song "Visions" the band was additionally supported by a string quartet and a horn player. Like the debut, "Visions" is a concept album. It tells the story of a young boy who sees his own death in his dreams and then spends his life trying to avoid it. The final 22-minute song "Visions" is the end of the story that comes full circle. It leads back to the beginning. For the re-release, Haken had all the tracks on the album remastered. The re-release of "Visions" is available both on a double CD with additional instrumental versions of all tracks and on an LP including the CD. For this anniversary, Haken give their fans a real treat: the great second album "Visions" in a new, remastered sound. Along with "Visions", a reissue of Haken's first album "Aquarius" will also be released.
