Guns N' Roses: Chinese Democracy version on CD in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Black Frog in cooperation with Geffen Records on 14. March 2019.
A brilliant, sweeping, confused and uncompromising hard rock album. You could say that the record sounds quite similar to the Guns N' Roses you know from before, only now the sound is compressed into one explosive record: super hard guitars, orchestral interludes, electronic hip hop elements, metal choruses and Axl Rose's unmistakable voice that still sounds damn alive. Even if Rose should ever doubt how much time (13 years), money (the booklet lists 14 studios) and personnel "Chinese Democracy" cost him - after all, there's no founding member left except him - none of it is audible in these 14 songs. Most of the new songs are characterized by extreme richness and variety, as if Rose kept trying new choruses or transitions to come to the following realization: "Screw it, they're all great."
