Although the album was a perfect compilation of heavy metal clichés, "See You In Hell" sold around 250,000 units at the time and reached #73 on the US Billboard Top 200 chart. Of course, a band clad in leather with "satanic" imagery had to listen to ridiculous accusations of devil worship even today. Unfortunately, this album provides no hidden message when played backwards.
