For more than 25 years, Gotthard have repeatedly proven their place in the global spotlight with outstanding songwriting and spectacular shows: 16 #1 albums, more than three million records sold, various awards and worldwide accolades, as well as more than 2,000 concerts around the planet are the impressive track record of this unquestionable rock act from Ticino. "Defrosted 2" is a twenty-two track live recording of the eponymous tour of Swiss hard rock greats Gotthard. It features two new acoustic tracks "Bye Bye Caroline" (feat. Francis Rossi) and "What I Wouldn't Give". "Bye Bye Caroline" was co-written with Status Quo founder Rossi himself, and the lyrics are based on the song "Caroline", which Status Quo have been opening in concert for 25 years. Rossi took the opportunity to contribute guitar and duet vocals to the song. The 4LP box set includes the bonus track "What I Wouldn't Give" (orchestra version).
