S alby "Replicas" (1979), "The Pleasure Principle" (1980) a "Telekon" (1980) se na vinylu znovu vydávají alba dvě až čtyři, která Numan prezentoval částečně s Tubeway Army ("Replicas") a částečně pod svým jménem. "Replicas" obsahuje hitové singly "Are 'Friends' Electric?" a "Down In The Park", "The Pleasure Principle" singly "Cars" a "Complex", "Telekon" písně "We Are Glass", "I Die: You Die" a "This Wreckage". Všechny tři desky se v té době dostaly na první místo anglické hitparády. Vinylové verze alb byly v posledních letech obtížně k sehnání; nahrávky byly pořízeny z analogových master pásů a pro lisování převedeny do souborů s vysokým rozlišením (96 Khz / 24 bitů). "Gary Numan dokazuje, že hudba byla vždycky skutečně vynalézavá pro masy" (Lady Gaga).
