The original album included classics such as "Solitude" and "Caravan" and introduced several new major Ellington compositions such as "Fleurette Africaine (African Flower)" and "Wig Wise". Ellington takes inspiration from his younger stars and delivers an exciting, modern performance. The CD adds four new tracks and four alternate takes (two of which have never been released before) to the original album. With a new remix and mastering in 24-bit quality, this essential classic sounds better than ever.
