Metal milestone live Metal queen Doro Pesch will celebrate the birthday of Warlock's last studio album "Triumph And Agony" from 1987 in 2021. To celebrate, the German rock singer has come up with something very special: "Warlock - Triumph And Agony Live" is, as the title reveals, a concert album. The recording was made at the Sweden Rock Festival. Doro said: "It has always been a dream of mine to play the 'Triumph And Agony' album live in its entirety. We did it for the first time at Sweden Rock, followed by a big tour of the US and Spain and other big festivals like Graspop and Norway Rock." Of the Sweden gig she said, "It was fantastic. It was a hell of an atmosphere!" And it has been perfectly captured in picture and sound and is now available in various formats, as a CD including Blu-ray, as an LP on marbled black and white vinyl, as a Minibox with CD and Blu-ray in Digipack with music cassette, patch and three buttons and as a Boxset with CD and Blu-ray in Digipack with a 20 cm tall "Doro and Warlock" figure. The track list on "Warlock - Triumph And Agony Live" includes live versions of all the original songs, but not in any known order. The new cover features Geoffrey Gillespie's famous original drawing of Warlock the magician embracing the singer. "The cover and all the decals, including the booklet and insert, are a combination of live shots and amazing iconic Warlock images by my favourite artist Geoffrey Gillespie, who did all the classic Doro/Warlock decals. It worked brilliantly. I'm very happy with it," says Doro. "Triumph And Agony" is the fourth and final studio album by German heavy metal band Warlock, released on September 29, 1987, and is one of the most successful and important German metal albums worldwide. Doro Pesch about the album: "It's one of my favourite albums we've ever made!
