Django Django was formed in 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland. But first the four men had to complete their art studies. Then came a move to London, a debut album in the UK - and critical praise: the self-titled debut album was released in the UK at the end of January to praise everywhere. The Guardian gave the album 5 stars out of 5 and said: "The best band you'll hear in 2012", NME gave it 8 out of 10 and said: "A band so good they named it twice", Q-Magazine rejoiced: "An album that is consistently melting and often brilliant".
