The album Love Scenes got its title after Diana Krall and her producer Tommy LiPuma realized that all the titles they had chosen together for the new album were love songs. This in no way means snazzy strings, but a stripped-down jazz trio with the otherwise rather cool Diana Krall, who seems downright emotional here during the ballads. From an artistic point of view this album is clearly less demanding than, for example, All for You, but perhaps that is why it has become Diana Krall's most commercially successful album. The songs are familiar and catchy and probably few have heard them in such great sound quality. This release comes on double vinyl at 45 rpm, which was re-lacquered by Bernie Grundman and pressed at the RTI pressing plant in Los Angeles. The album comes in a gatefold sleeve.
