Depeche Mode: Spirit DLX | LTD version on 2CD in deluxe limited edition. This particular edition was published in Japan in publishing company Sony Records Int'l in cooperation with Mute on 31. March 2017.

Spirit is the fourteenth studio album by English electronic music group Depeche Mode , released on 17 March 2017 by Columbia Records. The album was produced by James Ford and Depeche Mode , and was recorded at Blackwing Studios in London. It is the first Depeche Mode , co-written by singer Dave Gahan since his return to the band in 2009, and the first to be released under Columbia Records since the band's departure from Mute Records in 2013. The album title and artwork were revealed on January 16, 2017. The title is taken from the first track on the album, "Spirit". The cover artwork was created by longtime Depeche Mode collaborator Anton Corbijn and features "a striking image of a dove in flight, its wings outstretched in a gesture of hope and peace". The first single from the album, "Where's the Revolution", was released on 3 February 2017. Gahan described the song as "a call to action, a call to awaken, a demand for change". Spirit debuted at number one in 22 countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States. It was the band's first album to debut at number one in the United States.
