The band is also considered a major advocate for the legalization of marijuana in the States. Los Grandes Éxitos en Español is a collection of Cypress Hill's greatest hits in Spanish. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA. With the exception of the unreleased final track and the Spanish tracks "Latin Lingo" and "Tres Equis", which were released on Cypress Hill, the album is actually a cover version of old Cypress Hill songs with Spanish lyrics.
