Buddy Guy: Bring 'Em In version on vinyl 2LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Music On Vinyl in cooperation with Silvertone Records on 9. March 2018.
Bring 'Em In is the thirteenth studio album by blues icon Buddy Guy, originally released on CD only in 2005. The album consists almost entirely of carefully selected songs by artists ranging from Bob Dylan to Otis Redding, which Guy has re-written and re-interpreted. Many notable artists have contributed musically to Bring 'Em In, including Carlos Santana (guitar), Tracy Chapman (vocals), John Mayer (guitar), Keb 'Mo' (guitar), Anthony Hamilton (vocals), Robert Randolph (pedal steel) and Keith Richards (guitar). The album sounds a bit poppy in essence, but each track bears Buddy's special blues signature. Bring 'Em In contains his best melodic guitar improvisation since the 1960s album A Man and the Blues. He risks a duel with the great Carlos Santana on Put a Spell on You, and finds a worthy partner in John Mayer on I've Got Dreams to Remember. He duets with Tracy Chapman and Robert Randolph on the Bill Withers classic Is Not No Sunshine, and Keith Richards can be heard on Lay Lady Lay and The Price You Gotta Pay. Bring 'Em In thus has no shortage of stars to help Buddy Guy breathe new life into old classic songs. This great album is finally available on vinyl for the first time. The release comes on audiophile double vinyl, carefully packaged in a gatefold sleeve. The package also includes a four-page insert!
Album spans genres Rock, Blues and Blues Rock. 180g Gatefold Vinyl.
