The album's title track, "Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.", was released as a single and reached No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles from the album, "Blinded by the Light" and "Spirit in the Night", both reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. The album "Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J." was certified gold by the RIAA in 1974.
