Sound recycling with Blondie and colleagues Blondie present in 2017 the new album "Pollinator" - in a way a modern version of their vintage sound that has made them true legends of their genre for more than 40 years. Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke, Matt Katz-Bohen, Leigh Foxx and Tommy Kessler worked together last year with a whole team of co-writers. And so on "Pollinator," in addition to tracks by Harry and co., expect songs from the pens of Sia, Charli XCX, Dev Hynes, TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, The Strokes' Nick Valensi and The Smiths' Johnny Marr. Musical guests on the new album include The Gregory Brothers, Joan Jett and Laurie Anderson. The album was recorded at the legendary New York studio The Magic Shop, where David Bowie recorded his last two albums. "Pollinator" was also the last album recorded there before the studio closed. Under the guidance of producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, John Grant, War On Drugs, David Byrne), Blondie recorded all the tracks live here, making "Pollinator" a living work of art. The new wave icons have already proven in the single "Fun" that they are still having a great time with their music. In addition to the standard CD and LP, "Pollinator" is also available as a limited 7" box set with six singles.
