It is commonly regarded as the archetypal Atomic Rooster album, recorded by the "classic" line-up of Vincent Crane, John Du Cann and Paul Hammond. It is the band's most critically and commercially successful album and is often referred to as a classic of the progressive rock genre. It also spawned the hit single "Tomorrow Night" (UK #11), which became one of the band's best-known songs. The album cover features William Blake's monotype Nebuchadnezzar. The album's title track was covered by Paradise Lost in 1992, Bigelf in 2000 (on the album Money Machine) and Swedish death metal band NonExist in 2012. The reissue and remastering restores the original cover in all its gatefold glory.
