If you like laid-back, non-aggressive indie pop and folk with R'n'B, so-called bedroom pop, the London singer-songwriter is exactly the right address. After two impressive EPs, Arlo Parks' first album, Collapsed In Sunbeams, will finally be released in 2021. She wrote and recorded twelve songs for it. In addition to the famous "Black Dog", already released in May 2020, a new single "Green Eyes" awaits on the album. Both recordings give an idea of how unique the sound of the only twenty-year-old singer is. As such, Arlo Parks' "Collapsed In Sunbeams" is definitely one of the most exciting debuts of the new year and is highly recommended. PS: Her first two EPs with songs like "Cola" and "Eugene" are now available together on one record: the "Super Sad Generation".
