First album after five years: 'Rainier Fog' "Rainier Fog" is the new, sixth studio album by Alice In Chains. It took the Seattle grunge icons more than five years to write the follow-up to 2013's "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here," which reached No. 2 on the U.S. charts. Eventually, though, the band did reunite in the studio, at Studio X in their hometown of Seattle, the same place where they recorded their 1995 album of the same name. Further recording sessions took place at Henson Studios in Los Angeles and at producer Nick Raskulinecz's studio in Nashville. Jerry Cantrell and co. have already revealed what "Rainier Fog" sounds like, thanks to two pre-release singles, "Stone" and "Hollow."
