World In Sound

Indie label from Schwetzingen (Baden-Württemberg, Germany), focused on Psychedelic, Progressive, Hard'n'Heavy, Blues, Garage Rock. World in Sound has reissued vinyl and CDs since 1999, in the form of valuable, rare and obscure cult records. It has discovered numerous never published jewels from the period of 1966 - 1978. All productions take place in close collaboration with the artists and apart from the music also present historical background information about each band. Through the years World In Sound has become an institution in the worldwide psychedelic collector's scene. Since 2006 World In Sound has sought to establish young, ambitious bands with the above mentioned qualities to an international audience. By fusing generations of musicians, World In Sound has built a bridge back to this highly creative and rebellious time, the early 1970s, a time where music was seen as a demanding art form of expression, when the musicians ran the music business, and not the producers.
