Money Records (2)

Money Records (2)

Also appears as "Money" only. Hollywood, USA label originally ran by John Dolphin and Dolphin sold the label and its holdings to Don Pierce (2)'s Hollywood Records (2) in 1956 or 1957. After John Dolphin was shot dead in 1958 Ruth and Dolphins of Hollywood storefront DJ Alton “AC” Scott (Alton Scott) revived the label in the mid 60s, up until 1968 when it closed down again. It restarted in 1972 for two more years before closing again. It revived for one final year in 1976. Add to that the other labels Ruth and Al ran at the time: Ten Star Utopia and Call Me.
