Medley Records was bought by EMI in 1992 and on 2 January 1992 merged with a part of Danish EMI division to form EMI-Medley (EMI-Medley A/S). The new company continued to release under the Medley label.
In July 2013, following Warner Music Group's acquisition of the Parlophone Label Group (which included the EMI operating company in Denmark), the label now operates under the company Warner Music Denmark.
