From 1979 up to 1981 Big Time Phonograph Recording Co. was distributed by Wizard Records (5) which was purchased by EMI (Australia) Limited ca. 1981. and re-branded as Big Time. In Australia, 1987/88 distribution moved to BMG and releases were branded more often with RCA, BMG & Big Time simultaneously; in the US & perhaps Canada, RCA began manufacturing/distributing/marketing Big Time releases in October 1986.
Label reactivated in 2018 by new owners Hoodoo Gurus for their distribution contract with Universal Music Australia starting in 2018
