British Blues Rock Pioneers

Savoy Brown, a British blues rock band formed in 1965, has been a constant in the blues and rock scene for over half a century. Founded by guitarist Kim Simmonds, who has remained the group's guiding force throughout its existence, Savoy Brown was part of the late 1960s blues revival in the United Kingdom. They gained popularity in the United States and had a significant influence on the development of blues rock with their gritty sound and extended jam sessions. The band went through numerous lineup changes over the years but managed to maintain a consistent output of albums and tours.
