Oz

Oz is a Finnish heavy metal band that was originally formed in 1977. The band's early years were marked by a series of demos and small-scale releases, but they gained more widespread recognition with their 1983 album "Fire in the Brain." Throughout the 1980s, Oz continued to build their reputation within the heavy metal scene, releasing albums such as "III Warning" and "Decibel Storm." After a period of inactivity, the band made a comeback with new material and has been active in the new millennium. They have released several albums including "Burning Leather" (2011), which marked their return to the studio after a long hiatus, "Transition State" (2017), and "Forced Commandments" (2020). The band's sound has evolved over the years but remains rooted in traditional heavy metal, with powerful riffs and soaring vocals characteristic of the genre.
