Halford

Halford

British heavy metal vocalist

Halford is a heavy metal band formed in 1999 by Rob Halford, the lead vocalist of the influential British heavy metal band Judas Priest. After departing from Judas Priest in 1992, Halford pursued a solo career and experimented with various musical styles, including industrial and groove metal with his projects Fight and Two. However, with the formation of Halford (often stylized as HALFORD), he returned to his traditional heavy metal roots. The band's debut album "Resurrection" was released in 2000 to critical acclaim, showcasing a powerful return to the genre that had made him famous. Following up with "Crucible" in 2002, Halford continued to solidify his status as one of heavy metal's iconic voices. The live album "Resurrection World Tour - Live At Rock In Rio III," captured the band's dynamic performance at the prestigious festival and further cemented Halford's legacy as a live act. Throughout his career, Rob Halford has been revered for his wide vocal range and is often referred to as "The Metal God" by fans and peers alike.
