Duran Duran is an iconic British new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band was a leading force in the MTV-driven "Second British Invasion" of the US in the 1980s. The original lineup consisted of Simon Le Bon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), John Taylor (bass guitar), Roger Taylor (drums), and Andy Taylor (guitar). Their third album, "Seven and the Ragged Tiger," released in 1983, included the hit singles "The Reflex" and "New Moon on Monday."
