Corona

Corona

Mexican Regional Music Group

Corona is an Italian Eurodance band that found widespread international success in the 1990s. The act is primarily known for the hit single "The Rhythm of the Night," which was released in 1993 and became a global phenomenon, reaching the top of the charts in multiple countries. Corona was fronted by Brazilian-born singer Olga Maria de Souza, but the voice on their hit tracks was often that of Italian singer Jenny B (real name Giovanna Bersola), who provided uncredited vocals. The project was produced by Francesco Bontempi, also known as Lee Marrow, who was instrumental in crafting Corona's signature sound. The band's debut album, also titled "The Rhythm of the Night," was released in 1994 and contained a mix of dance tracks and ballads. Corona continued to release music throughout the '90s and into the early 2000s, although they never replicated the massive success of their early hits.
